Turn Off Automatic Proxy DetectionThere are a few Internet Service Providers (particularly Shaw Communications - http://www.shaw.ca) that will require users of our product to disable "Automatic Proxy Detection for both Internet Explorer v6.x or higher and our Conference Client software. The instructions below will help you do that. To disable Automatic Proxy Detection in Internet Explorer, perform the following: Go to Tools -> Internet Options and click on the "Connections" tab. You will get a window similar to below. After which, click "LAN Settings" in the lower right corner.
After clicking "LAN Settings", you will get a window similar to below. Please ensure both boxes as indicated are unchecked and click "OK"
To disable "Automatic Proxy Detection" within the Conference Client software, perform the following steps. Click the START button and select "Run..." (or you can use the Windows Keyboard Short of
After click "OK", you will get this window, if you have the Conference Client software currently installed on your computer. Otherwise you may get an error message, which would indicate you do not currently have the Conference Client software installed on your computer, or it is installed in a different location.
After completing these steps, you should be able to enter your meeting. |
