Text Chat Options
The Text Chat component allows you to send text messages to other in the Room. It operates similarly to most instant messengers.
Here are some of the text options available to you.
Participants in your Meeting Room can easily and quickly send group or private text messages to others in the Meeting Room. The default setting when a Room is initially purchased allows you to type in a message, click "Enter", and "All Users" can read it. This default setting can be changed by the Room owner.
When you are finished with your Private text chat, simply click the red X in the upper corner of the Private text chat window to close it.
This is a great way for participants to ask questions, make comments and generally communicate with one another while they are waiting for their turn to speak.
The Room owner has the ability to disable Private text chat at any time in their Configuration Panel.
