Visual Options

Built upon the popular Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, users can browse and navigate the Internet just as they do in a normal Internet Explorer browser. To view a webpage within this browser, simply enter the appropriate webpage URL in the address box and press Enter.

On the Browser toolbar, you can use the "Back" and "Forward" buttons to navigate through other webpages that have been previously viewed. Use the "Reload" button to refresh the current webpage being viewed. Use the "Stop" button to stop loading the current page. When the "Default Search" button is pressed the default search engine webpage for your web browser will be loaded. When the "Default Room Page" button is pressed the default webpage for this particular Meeting Room will be reloaded into the browser section.

If you are making a small presentation to a group, you can pre-load several pages, click "Back" until you are at the starting page, and when everyone is in the Room you can click "Forward" for each page as you progress through the presentation. Or, you can use the Drop-Down List to return to previously visited URLs. If you are making a larger presentation, please see our Showing Slides page for more options.

Unless the Room Owner has choosen chosen to "Disable Browsing" in their Room Admin Control Panel, guests can independently click on links within their Meeting Room browser window until the moderator takes them to the next page in the presentation.

Be sure to search for "Follow-Me" in our FAQ Library for more hints and ideas for creative use of this powerful feature.

See the Moderator section of the User Guide for more information about HOW to operate the Follow Me Mode and other Moderator features of the visual panel.
