Entering a Voxwire MeetingRoom
A Voxwire MeetingRoom is basically a web page that contains
the three integrated components: Voice, Follow-Me Browser,
and Text Chat.
If you are the Room owner, we provide an easy way to create
a desktop shortcut and to place your Room URL in your Favorites
menu.
Your Meeting Host will send you a URL to their MeetingRoom™ that
will include the Guest Access Code. Alternatively, they may
send you to a page on their website with a graphic “Enter
Room” button. (These links are available to them in the
"Room Admin - View Links" page inside their Account
Login.)
Enter your name when prompted, then click the "Enter
MeetingRoom" button.
It will then automatically download a small file that processes
the voice, unless you have your computer set up to require
manual steps. If it asks you to accept a file from Simple Software,
our download agent, please click "yes". Be sure you
meet the minimum System
Requirements.
You need your speakers turned on to listen. If you have a
microphone, you can talk. You can also text chat if you prefer.
If you want to test your microphone ahead of time, visit the
live
voice demo room. This will allow you to hear your own
voice after it travels around the Internet.
We recommend that you log into the MeetingRoom or the Voice
Test Room prior to the actual meeting. Then when you log into
the actual meeting, the small file will already be on your
computer and you will enter directly into the Room.
If you have any trouble, Voxwire offers online self-help suggestions
on the Support page.
